Basic qualifications
- Experience collaborating with product managers developers and other stakeholders
- 5 years of practical experience in UX design with an emphasis on content discovery and/or content engagement experiences.
- Demonstrated interaction design and visual craft skills including experience with prototyping mobile experiences
- An aesthetic sense and the ability to make confident decisions
- Demonstrated empathy for the people using your software or products
- Expertise with Figma
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working on associate-facing software experiences
- Executed research plans talking to real customers
- Knowledge of design systems
- Formal education in Design Interaction/UX Design or HCI

* Execute the design strategy for complex operational systems considering both immediate needs and long-term scalability
* Define and improve design patterns standards and processes that can be adopted across teams

* Contribute to design reviews and critiques ensuring high-quality outcomes across multiple workstreams
* Partner with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility while maintaining design integrity
* Aggregate and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform product-level design decisions
* Influence product strategy and roadmap decisions through data-informed design recommendations
* Champion user-centered design practices across the organization

- 5 years of design experience
- 3 years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch Photoshop Illustrator InVision or similar
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
