Since 2017 our team has delivered mining excellence at Peak Downs with uncompromising safety and environmental standards. Were looking forward to continuing our long-term relationship with BMA during our current 5-year contract effective 2022.

Peak Downs Mine is based 6kms south of Moranbah in the Bowen Basin.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our busy Maintenance department at Peak Downs is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Boilermaker. As our next Boilermakerreporting to the Maintenance Supervisoryou will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.

Additionally you will:

• Conduct required inspection to maximise equipment utilisation
• Complete accurate Job Planning Sheets
• Be responsible for workshop tooling
• Set and maintaining high housekeeping standards
• Work within a team environment to meet deadlines
• Perform bucket tray & chassis inspections and repairs

REQUIREMENTS

• A proactive attitude with the desire to work reliably as part of a world-class team to deliver excellence for our clients
• Proficient in performing all welding gouging cutting or other duties
• Standard 11
• Trade Certificate in Engineering Fabrication or Equivalent
• Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earthmoving industry or hydraulic excavator industry Mobile plant equipment & heavy welding experience (essential)
• Current Drivers Licence (HR drivers licence highly regarded)
• Previous open cut coal mine experience on HME
• High Risk Work Licence for EWP & Working at Heights (Desirable)
