Night Shift Workshop-Based Role
NEPEAN Longwall is a leading provider of longwall mining equipment and services to Australias underground coal industry. We are currently seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our night shift workshop team in Paget Mackay.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for the fabrication assembly and repair of longwall and underground mining equipment. This role is workshop-based working night shifts with a focus on high-quality workmanship and safety compliance.
Key responsibilities:
Fabricate assemble and repair steel structures and components for mining equipment
Follow technical drawings and specifications
Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with WHS and company standards
Work collaboratively with mechanical electrical and hydraulics trades
Qualified Boilermaker with experience in heavy or mining equipment fabrication
Strong welding and fabrication skills
Able to work night shifts reliably and safely
Safety-focused and detail-oriented
Night shift roster with overtime opportunities
Competitive hourly rate plus penalties
Workshop-based role in Paget Mackay
