Job Summary
SUMMARY
The Product Owner supports the development delivery and optimization of Sunwest Banks products and services. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams and offshore development partners to ensure product initiatives align with business goals user needs and regulatory requirements. The Product Owner is responsible for executing product strategies supporting project management and driving continuous improvement in product operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage relationships and daily communications with offshore development partners.
- Participate in all sprint planning sessions ensuring development work is prioritized and scheduled appropriately.
- Monitor progress of development tasks proactively identifying and resolving blockers to keep work on schedule.
- Assist in the development and execution of product strategies and roadmaps.
- Collaborate with engineering design operations and business teams to deliver product features and enhancements.
- Support product lifecycle management including requirements gathering documentation and release planning.
- Analyze user feedback market trends and performance data to inform product decisions.
- Document product processes best practices and lessons learned.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies audit requirements and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to process improvement and innovation within the product team.

- Adhere to company policies safety regulations and all applicable laws.
- Attends training and maintains a basic knowledge of procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing financial institutions as they apply to your position and job responsibilities with an emphasis on the BSA/AML/CIP Consumer Privacy Regulation CC Information Security Bank Protection Act FACT-Identity Theft Information Technology and GLBA.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of experience in product management project management or related fields.
- Strong analytical communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with product development processes and tools.
