What the job looks like:

As a Behavioral Health Technician youll work directly with clients in a detox and crisis stabilization setting supporting their recovery journey through compassionate care and therapeutic engagement. Youll assist with daily living needs monitor client safety facilitate groups and provide emotional support using trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approaches. Your ability to stay calm under pressure and respond to crises with empathy will be key to creating a safe and healing environment.

Youll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary teamincluding nursing counseling psychiatry and case managementto ensure continuity of care. From documenting client progress to participating in treatment planning and transporting clients to appointments your role is vital in helping individuals stabilize and transition to the next phase of recovery. This is a dynamic hands-on position where every shift brings opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

Apply if you have:

  • A high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of behavioral health experience
  • OR a Licensed Substance Abuse Technician (LSAT) credential
  • A Bachelors degree in a behavioral health field is preferred
  • Strong communication empathy and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights weekends and holidays
