Job Overview:

The Home Health Billing Manager oversees all aspects of the billing cycle to ensure accurate timely submission and reimbursement of claims. This role requires deep knowledge of home health billing regulations exceptional organizational skills and the ability to lead a billing team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end billing process for Medicare Managed Care and commercial payers.
Ensure accurate and timely claims submission payment posting and accounts receivable follow-up.
Monitor billing trends payer requirements and compliance updates related to home health.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
Lead train and support billing staff; oversee performance and workflow efficiency.
Prepare monthly billing reports aging summaries and reimbursement analysis for leadership.
Implement and optimize billing policies processes and software systems.
Maintain compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs) HIPAA and industry regulations.

Qualifications

5 years of Home Health billing experience required; Billing Manager or Supervisor experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines OASIS RAP/NOA and Final claim processes.
Proficiency with EMR/billing systems / WellSky
Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
High level of accuracy professionalism and attention to detail.
