Job Summary
This is a remote position.
Southland Organics is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Home Based Data Entry Typist to join our Environmental Services team. As a key member of our team you will play a vital role in ensuring data integrity and supporting operational efficiency helping us maintain high standards in environmental services.
Key Objectives
- Accurately input and update data related to environmental projects and services.
- Maintain organized digital records to support reporting and compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and precise data management.
Responsibilities
- Enter and update data from various sources including forms reports and digital files.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of information before submission.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Identify and correct data inconsistencies or errors.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding data-related issues.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to data handling and environmental compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data entry or typing roles preferably in environmental or related industries.
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and Word.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable home workspace.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in data management is a plus.
- Familiarity with environmental data or industry terminology is advantageous but not mandatory.
