IT Business Analyst

As an IT Business Analyst you will serve as a vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will be responsible for understanding business needs and translating them into high-quality technical solutions. You will be involved throughout the project lifecycle including requirements gathering analysis documentation design support testing coordination and post-implementation support.

Position Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with business units to gather analyze and define business requirements ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Translates business and user requirements into Epics Features and User Stories.

• Assist PO and development teams in clarifying requirements and prioritizing features.

• Coordinates recommended process changes enhancements and product implementations including test plans to ensure successful implementation.

• Coordinate cross-functional communication to drive project progress and resolve issues and risks.

• Continuously optimize business processes and propose improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.

• Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solution recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or above in Computer Science Information Systems Business Administration or a related field.

• 3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a related role preferably with experience in large-scale system implementations.

• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Agile/Scrum).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

• Proficiency in business analysis tools such as JIRA Confluence Visio Figma etc.

• Proficient in English communication across all four skills: listening reading speaking and writing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in insurance-related projects including Point of sales policy management compensation claims processing or digital transformation in the insurance domain.

• Relevant certifications such as CBAP PMP or Scrum Master are a plus.
