Responsibilities:
- Provide procurement support services in connection with Contractor Acquired Materials as well as for IT procurements processed through traditional means (to include but not limited to standalone contracts purchase orders and Government Purchase Card (GPC) buys).
- Adhere to Federal DoD Army and local regulations policies and guides to develop Contract Requirements Packages (CRPs) for IT requirements including but not limited to requirements statements justifications & approvals performance work statements security approvals quotes Information Technology Approval System (ITAS) waivers Statements of NonAvailability (SONA) and market research reports.
- Route procurement documentation to Government personnel review.
- Submit CRP to supporting offices.
- Follow up with supporting offices reporting CRP statuses.
- Support routine information meetings phone calls and electronic correspondence to coordinate procurement activities and ensure timely execution of procurementrelated tasks.
- Enter procurement data in an accurate and timely way into various management systems to support the procurement process including but is not limited to Purchase Request System (PURS) General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) Paperless Contract File (PCF) and Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS).
- Enter tracking information into management systems in order to facilitate status reporting operational metrics and data analysis.
- Record and monitor key procurement milestones.
- Monitor period of performance end dates maintenance renewal dates and similar events.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in related field
- Great communication and organizational skills
- Five (5) years of prior experience in a similar role
- DoD 8570 Level II/III certification desired
- Active Security Clearance
