We are currently searching for a AS400 Admin:
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain IBM i systems (formerly AS400).
- Handle software installation and upgrades and perform hardware maintenance.
- Manage system backups and recovery processes.
- Oversee user security administration on the platform.
- Conduct performance monitoring troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Perform SQL query execution and manage version control.
- Participate in the testing of new applications.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8 to 10 years of relevant systems administration experience.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Systems or related field (partial degree or technical certification in IT is acceptable).
- Mandatory Technical Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of AS400 / IBM i administration.
- Proficiency in SQL.
Languages
- Advanced Oral English.
- Native Spanish.
