Job Description:

**** We need: A business Analyst (10 years minimum) who has been involved in Charles River projects CRPM or a Senior Business Analyst with recent experience supporting Private Credit and/or Asset management projects. CANDIDATES MUST EITHER HAVE CRPM OR PRIVATE CREDIT AND/OR ASSET MANAGEMENT OUTLINED ON THE RESUME. THIS POSITION IS SUPPORTING PRIVATE CREDIT AND/OR ASSET MANAGEMENT PROJECTS. CHARLES RIVER IS A BIG PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED. Lead end-to-end business analysis for initiatives involving Charles River CRPM (compliance portfolio management order management trade compliance) or Private Credit / Asset Management (deal onboarding portfolio monitoring origination workflows risk reporting).

Job Description:

The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in delivering front-to-back solutions across Investment Management Private Credit and/or Charles River CRPM initiatives. This individual will partner closely with Portfolio Managers Traders Operations Risk Technology and Compliance to support strategic platforms and business processes within a banking or capital markets environment. The ideal candidate brings deep domain expertise in asset management workflows investment lifecycle processes regulatory requirements and system integrations with specific experience in Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS/CRPM) or Private Credit product workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders technology teams and vendor partners to gather analyze and translate complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Lead end-to-end business analysis for initiatives involving Charles River CRPM (compliance portfolio management order management trade compliance) or Private Credit / Alternative Investments (deal onboarding portfolio monitoring origination workflows risk reporting).
  • Support the full investment lifecycle including order generation execution compliance monitoring settlement position reconciliation and reporting processes.
  • Drive the analysis and design of business workflows across Front Middle and Back Office functions within an asset management or capital markets environment.
  • Conduct detailed gap analysis impact assessments and solution design for enhancements upgrades and new implementations of investment platforms or private credit systems.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to support data mapping model building interface definitions and batch/real-time integrations with downstream systems (e.g. risk accounting data warehouse performance measurement).
  • Develop and execute test plans-including UAT regression and system integration testing-to validate end-to-end functionality and ensure alignment with business requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops requirement sessions process mapping and documentation efforts (BRDs FRDs user stories data dictionaries workflow diagrams).
  • Support regulatory and compliance initiatives including investment guideline monitoring audit readiness and implementation of new rules across risk and compliance systems.
  • Monitor project status identify risks and dependencies and ensure delivery within scope timeline and budget.
  • Provide SME-level support during production rollout change management training issue triage and post-implementation stabilization.
  • Build strong relationships with Portfolio Managers Credit Analysts Operations Risk Compliance and Senior Leadership to support strategic business initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years of hands-on Business Analysis experience in Investment Management Private Credit Capital Markets or Banking environments.
  • Strong expertise with Charles River CRPM/CRIMS or direct experience supporting Private Credit systems and workflows.
  • Deep understanding of investment products such as loans private credit facilities syndicated loans fixed income derivatives and structured products.
  • Solid understanding of the investment lifecycle trade flow processing portfolio accounting and performance reporting.
  • Experience documenting business requirements system interfaces and operating models for front-to-back investment processes.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g. SEC rules UCITS MiFID investment restrictions).
  • Proficiency with SQL data analysis and interpretation of complex datasets to support business and technical decision-making.
  • Strong communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence across business and technology teams.
  • Experience supporting large-scale system implementations vendor platform integrations or multi-phase transformation programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with alternative investment systems (e.g. Black Mountain Allvue Moodys Private Credit platforms).
  • Understanding of collateral management risk analytics credit modeling or cash/liquidity management.
  • Background in Agile delivery methodologies and experience writing user stories/acceptance criteria in Jira or similar tools.
  • Experience with data governance data lineage reporting solutions or enterprise data warehouse integrations.
