AI:AT the AI Factory Austria is making Austria a hotspot for Artificial Intelligence in Europe.

AI:AT is a joint project of AIT and Advanced Computing Austria. It brings together top-level expertise in high-performance computing artificial intelligence and data ecosystems creating an interdisciplinary innovation environment for research development start-ups and industrial projects.

AI:AT the AI Factory Austria provides access to cutting-edge AI infrastructure promotes trustworthy AI and ethical standards and serves as a hub for networking with national and European partners. The goal is to work with partners from industry and public institutions to develop and implement forward-looking AI technologies and viable AI solutions.

As part of the collaboration within the AI Factory Austria the Austrian Institute of Technology will delegate experts to the AI Factory Austria. For our location in Vienna (Karl-Farkas-Gasse 1030) we are seeking a:

• You provide end-to-end technical support for partner projects.
• You support the implementation of the service catalog for the AI infrastructure model development data pipelines evaluation MLOps and trustworthy AI.
• You contribute to the development of hands-on reference workflows (LLM fine-tuning RAG pipelines AI agents MLOps templates).

• You assist in operating CI/CD orchestration and monitoring systems on HPC and hybrid clouds.
• You apply trustworthy AI practices including bias privacy and security checks.
• You cooperate with partner organisations to develop training programs workshops or tutorials.

Your qualifications:

• Completed degree (MSc.) in Computer Science Data Science Artificial Intelligence or a related field
• Knowledge of Python ML frameworks and cloud / HPC environments
• Initial practical experience in MLOps: Docker/Kubernetes GitOps MLflow/Kubeflow
• Experience with HPC schedulers (e.g. SLURM) and hybrid cloud architectures
• Enthusiasm for building reliable scalable and trustworthy AI systems
• Self-driven structured and eager to learn and collaborate across disciplines.
• Excellent language skills in English German would be an advantage
• You should be eligible for working in Austria

What to expect:

• A key function in a visionary field of the future with high social and economic relevance.
• The gross annual salary starts at EUR 55.482-- as a minimum according to the non-university collective agreement. The actual total salary package is determined individually according to your qualifications and experience.
• The position will be funded by the AI Factory Austria (until June 2028). An extension beyond this period may be possible depending on future project developments.
