We are hiring a Production Supervisor for our Moorpark CA location to provide departmental direction and support using coaching motivation and supervisory techniques ensures that teams achieve levels of performance in accordance to the companys goal. The Production Supervisor continuously seeks process improvement through use of analysis of production methods and controls: Standard Operating Procedures Best practices and all other company policies.


What you will be responsible for:

  • Lead and enforce safe work practices in compliance with company policies.
  • Execute the production schedule by supervising directing and prioritizing daily manufacturing and shipping operations.
  • Allocate labor equipment and materials to minimize downtime and ensure on-time completion of scheduled work.
  • Monitor production efficiency quality and capacity; track and report downtime by cause and area.
  • Support quality objectives and continuous improvement efforts (corrective actions non-conformances root cause analysis 5S etc.).
  • Review production records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Approve timecards and manage employee time-off to maintain production coverage.
  • Conduct performance reviews provide ongoing coaching and address conduct/performance issues per policy in coordination with HR.
  • Develop and oversee training schedules; train and mentor production team members and communicate shift priorities/changes.
  • Maintain strong communication across employees and leadership; promote teamwork and engagement.
  • Manage inventory and replenishment of production supplies.
Requirements

What you need...

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to communicate to both management and staff clearly and informatively.
  • Demonstrated leadership in team settings.
  • Strong decision-making and troubleshooting skills and methods are essential.
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to provide feedback to help others grow.
  • Proficiency with computer operations and programs such as Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel) Access or other data tracking systems.
  • Spanish/English bilingual skills preferred.

Education:

An Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred with relevant experience in a production environment. Alternatively a minimum of 5 years of previous supervisory experience in a production environment or other related environments.


Experience:

Significant experience in a production environment that includes building & sustaining high levels of employee morale production quality and scheduling. Experience in a team-based setting is preferred.

Salary Description:

$75000 - $90000 per annual DOQ


We are committed to providing pay ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience qualifications location and internal equity considerations. The listed pay range is provided in good faith and is subject to adjustments in accordance with company policies and market conditions.


This position is eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus program based on company performance goals. Bonus payouts are not guaranteed and are determined at the companys discretion.
