Duties and Responsibilities
1.*Under the direct supervision of the PaCoN Project Director (PD) assists with the development and execution of a variety of tasks that facilitate the day-to-day operations of the PaCoN Program in a wide range of matters on-campus or at off-campus locations ensuring alignment with organizational goals and program objectives.
2.*Assists in responding to inquiries scheduling resources and information related to the PaCoN Program maintaining clear channels of communication to facilitate effective collaboration and information dissemination.
3.*Assists with the documentation and reporting processes for program results and procedures ensuring accuracy and compliance with data system and agency requirements. Streamlines internal communication through optimized file structures and web platforms.
4.*Reviews and updates presentation materials tailored to diverse audiences effectively communicating key insights and developments relevant to the PaCoN Projects objectives.
5.*Assists by reviewing budget proposals expenditure plans eTravel submissions and funding requests to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability. Tracks payments from initiation to completion for efficient financial management.
as a source of support with the development review and tracking of subawards contracts and procurement activities related to program operations ensuring compliance and efficiency in all transactions.
in the design and maintenance of program websites social media accounts and outreach materials enhancing visibility and engagement within the research community and beyond.
immediate supervisor as a key liaison between various stakeholders including academic departments administrative units funding agencies and external partners to address project needs and foster collaborative relationships.

Minimum Qualifications
of a baccalaureate degree in business project management public administration communications information systems life sciences or related field and 0 year(s) of progressively responsible professional experience with responsibilities for program management; or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education knowledge skills and abilities as indicated.
knowledge of principles practices and techniques in the area of program management demonstrated by knowledge understanding and ability to apply concepts terminology.
knowledge and understanding of principles theories federal and state laws rules regulations and systems associated with program management.
ability to recognize problems identify possible causes and resolve the full range problems that may commonly occur in the area of program management.
ability to understand oral and written documentation write reports and procedures and communicate effectively in a variety of situations.
ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations groups team members and individuals.
ability to operate a personal computer apply word processing software and familiarity with Microsoft Office Adobe and Google applications
to travel independently to various geographical locations in a timely manner. Requirement may be fulfilled by a valid Hawaii Drivers license (Class 3) comparable drivers license or other means of transportation which meets position needs.
Desirable Qualifications
