The Franklin County Auditors Office is seeking a senior level IT Project Manager to lead and stabilize a portfolio of in flight technology projects following a recent tax accounting system migration. This role reports directly to the IT Director and is responsible for driving execution structure and accountability across active initiatives.
The primary objective of this role is to bring claritypredictability and delivery discipline to existing projects supporting themigration of approximately ten applications.
This role requires senior level judgment and demonstratedexperience stabilizing complex in flight IT projects with minimal ramp uptime.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide day to day operational management ofmultiple active IT projects already in progress.
Report directly to the IT Director and alignexecution with leadership priorities.
Manage projects related to applicationmigration data warehouse updates and reporting remediation.
Break existing work into clear milestones anddeliverables.
Develop and maintain executable project plansand schedules.
Coordinate work across business analystsdevelopers SMEs and consultants.
Mentor business analysts on documentation andproject discipline.
Facilitate project meetings using MicrosoftTeams.
Schedule and manage meetings using MicrosoftOutlook.
Provide concise and accurate status reporting toexecutive leadership.
Identify risks dependencies and decisionpoints early.
Drive timely issue resolution and escalationwhen needed.
Ensure documentation is complete and suitablefor audit review.
Reinforce consistent project managementpractices across the portfolio.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
