**Position Overview: OB/GYN Medical Director**
**Responsibilities:**The OB/GYN Medical Director is responsible for delivering comprehensive clinical care encompassing outpatient services surgical procedures and maternal addition to clinical duties the role entails spearheading the clinical and strategic advancement of the Womens Health program.
Key functions include:
- Driving program development and strategic growth initiatives for the Womens Health service line on the east side of Cincinnati.
Collaborating with executive leaders and interdisciplinary teams to optimize quality metrics enhance patient satisfaction and foster service line growth.
- Mentoring and supporting physicians and advanced practice providers to cultivate a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Engaging closely with certified nurse-midwives and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists from the University of Cincinnati.
- Adhering to a balanced work schedule (MondayFriday) which includes designated leadership time dedicated to administrative responsibilities.
- Participating in a call rotation structure of 1:6.

**Experience and Qualifications:**
- Must hold Board Certification in OB/GYN (mandatory).
- An active Ohio medical license is required (or the willingness to acquire one).
- A minimum of five years of experience in OB/GYN practice is necessary (mandatory).
- Leadership experience is highly preferred.
- A clean history regarding malpractice claims and medical licensure is also highly preferred.
**Certification Requirements:**
- Board Certification in OB/GYN.
**State License Requirements:**
- Active medical license in Ohio.
**Additional Experience Requirements:**
- Minimum five years of OB/GYN experience is required with a preference for candidates with leadership and administrative experience.
