Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient care in a healthcare facility setting. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused attentive and capable of supporting both nursing staff and patients with day-to-day care needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent patient care and support in accordance with care plans.
Respond to patient call lights and determine appropriate assistance.
Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing dressing toileting mobility and personal hygiene.
Reposition and turn bedridden patients to ensure comfort and safety.
Review dietary needs allergies and preferences to ensure patients receive correct meal trays.
Gather and share patient condition details treatment plans and activity recommendations with nurses and physicians.
Measure and document food and fluid intake/output; report any significant changes.
Record vital signs such as blood pressure temperature pulse and respiration when requested by licensed staff.
Required Skills & Experience
12 years of CNA experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting (Required).
Strong communication observation and patient-care skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Education & Licensure
Active New York State CNA license (Required).
BLS Certification American Heart Association (Required).
