Qualifications
REQUIRED
1. B.S. degree in Medical Technology or Chemical Physical or Biological science PLUS
one (1) year experience as a phlebotomist in a hospital based clinical laboratory OR
B.S. or B.A. degree in Education Business Administration or other health related specialty plus two (2) years experience as a phlebotomist in a hospital based clinical
laboratory OR
Two (2) year Associate Degree in a health related specialty or Business Administrationplus three (3) years of experience as a phlebotomist in a hospital based clinical
laboratory OR
Four (4) years of experience as a phlebotomist and laboratory data clerk in a hospital based clinical laboratory.
2. Three (3) years of hospital based phlebotomy supervisory experience.
PREFERRED
1. Possess excellent verbal and written communication mathematical and analytical skills.
2. Demonstrate knowledge of information systems software applications and
telecommunication systems.
3. Demonstrate the ability to make decisions solve problems and promote laboratory
services and organization to physicians and general public.
