Job Summary
Travel Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Lab Technician (CLS/MLT)Location: Indian Health Service Facility OklahomaPay: $2800$2900 per week (gross) $500 travel allowanceStart Date: On or around October 1 2025Contract Length: 1-year with potential extensions (four 1-year options)Schedule: Full-time 80 hours per 2-week period rotating shiftsPosition Overview:We are hiring experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS) or Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) to join a high-complexity CLIA-inspected laboratory within a federal healthcare setting. You will play a key role in supporting diagnostic and specialty care for Native American Responsibilities:Perform a variety of routine to highly complex lab tests including hematology chemistry blood banking microbiology urinalysis and moreOperate maintain and troubleshoot high-complexity laboratory equipmentPerform phlebotomy on patients across all age groupsEnsure quality control and compliance with CLIA HIPAA and JCAHO standardsMaintain accurate documentation of patient results and equipment maintenanceAssist in emergency situations as needed (BLS certification required)Qualifications:ASCP (or equivalent) certification requiredAt least 12 months of hospital laboratory experience within the last 3 yearsCurrent BLS certificationProficiency with laboratory information systems and electronic medical recordsAbility to work rotating shifts and float across lab departments as neededMust pass a federal background checkStrong communication skills and cultural sensitivity working with Native American populationsCompensation and Benefits:Weekly gross pay: $2800$2900One-time travel allowance: $500Generous referral bonusesTravel partners welcome12-month contract with up to four 1-year renewal optionsFull-time hours with shift flexibility based on lab needsHow to Apply:If youre a dependable motivated CLS or MLT looking to contribute to a meaningful mission in a federal healthcare environment we encourage you to apply today.
