Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associate degree preferred
Two years of clerical or administrative experience required
Medical staff or credentialing experience preferred
What you will do:
Position Responsibilities
Coordinate monitor and maintain the credentialing and re-credentialing process
Facilitate all aspects of credentialing including initial appointment reappointment expirations as well as clinical privileges for Medical Staff providers including Insurance Payers with whom we have contracts
Work closely with group providers to obtain documents for enrollment
Respond to internal and external inquiries on enrollment statuses
Maintain provider documents licenses directories files and enrollments in all applicable locations
Track provider license certification DEA and professional liability expiration dates to ensure timely renewals
Provide follow up support to new practitioners as needed.
Perform additional duties as needed.
