We are seeking a compassionate experienced and motivated Director of Nursing (DON) to join our skilled nursing facility in Massillon OH. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with a passion for quality care teamwork and operational success.
Position: Director of Nursing (DON)
Location: Massillon OH
Schedule: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all nursing department operations to ensure the highest standards of resident care.
- Lead mentor and support nursing staff promoting a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Ensure compliance with all state federal and facility regulations.
- Develop and implement policies procedures and quality improvement initiatives.
- Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to achieve clinical and operational goals.
- Manage staffing scheduling and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum 1year of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting (DON or ADON experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and survey processes.
- Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for delivering exceptional resident-centered care.
