Were looking for a motivated Associate Financial Analyst to fill this critical role based in our Seattle office. Reporting to the Manager Finance - Capital youll support the capital team by owning administrative processes and data consolidation for reporting purposes. Youll work collaboratively across finance accounting and operations supporting critical finance processes systems and reporting and be responsible for supporting the monthly capital change control process and underlying capital planning system consolidating funding requests creating and distributing capital KPI reporting and coordinating data inputs to ensure accurate and transparent information between operations finance and the senior leadership team. Additionally youll support financial planning for major refurbishment projects providing analytical and administrative support and support the roll out of a new capital planning tool. Finally youll support ad-hoc analysis and data request while always looking to identify process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities
Support monthly Holland America Line and Seabourn capital committee process including change control reviews (capital policy and business) presentation development and maintaining accurate data in the underlying capital management system.
Cross-functional support of major refurbishment capital project forecasts accounting and administration including long range planning/forecasting cash flow management accounts payable management and post-mortem reviews.
Support capital planning tool implementation and roll-out.
Support month-end finance activities for both Holland America Line and Seabourn.
Assist in developing cross-functional financial and operational data / analytics repository for internal finance and other key operational stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement through capital financial and operational stakeholder processes and collaboration points.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in finance accounting operational planning or related roles.
Highly meticulous with a strong business sense and ability to multi-task with minimal supervision.
Able to manage tight deadlines prioritize workload and achieve effective results.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with an awareness of analytics software (Tableau Power BI etc.) and working within Microsoft Teams or Slack environment (structuring team data and channels SharePoint management etc).
Strong ability to problem solve under ambiguity adapt readily and easily to changes and have the drive to challenge the limits of their professional skills.
Understanding of financial and accounting principles and best practices.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work and coordinate across teams and departments.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g. H-1B status).
Please note that this is a hybrid position based in Seattle WA. Candidates must be comfortable coming into the office 3 days/week (Tuesday-Thursday).

Base Pay Range: $23.89-$32.26. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates qualifications and experience uniquely.
