Job Summary

We are seeking a veterinarian with a strong focus on small animal medicine soft tissue surgery and dentistry to join a dedicated team.

This position is ideal for a veterinarian eager to enhance their dental and oral surgery capabilities through hands-on training and mentorship while pursuing career advancement within a well-established Fear Free certified practice. The role will involve a balanced schedule between clinical consultations and procedural cases.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide gold-standard care for both preventive and wellness services.

- Accurately diagnose illnesses and administer medical treatments in a Fear Free environment utilizing advanced diagnostic tools such as ultrasound and endoscopy to address acute and chronic health issues.

- Deliver comprehensive dental care and oral surgical procedures supported by intraoral radiography a proficient support staff and extensive hands-on training.

- Execute a variety of general soft tissue surgeries including but not limited to mass excisions foreign body removals pyometra repairs and cystotomies.

- Collaborate with an experienced team of veterinarians each specializing in areas such as internal medicine surgery dentistry and preventative care.

- Enhance clinical expertise through guidance from seasoned doctors and access to a variety of in-clinic and offsite training opportunities.

**Qualifications:**

- DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary institution.

- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland.

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery preferred.

- Demonstrated competency in both surgical and dental procedures preferred.

- A commitment to teamwork and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
