Job Summary

Support Worker Children Services Queanbeyan

Join our team in Queanbeyan to provide vital personalised support for children and young people with disabilities in the local area. We are dedicated to creating positive change and meaningful connections.

Eligibility Requirements (Ideally)

To be considered for this essential role you will ideally meet one of the following:

  • Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander with relevant experience.

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Disability Services Community Services Individual Support or equivalent.

The Role & Whats On Offer

You will be supporting clients with personal care daily living skills and planning social appointments/activities in the Queanbeyan-Palerang community.

  • Competitive Pay: $34.58 - $37.73 per hour loadings (SCHADS Award) 12% Super.

About You

You must possess the following current credentials and availability:

  • Current NSW Drivers Licence (willingness to drive locally).

  • Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.

  • Paid WWCC and NDISWC.

  • Willingness to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR).

  • Availability to work a 24/7 roster.
