We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant- Social Strategy & Stakeholder Engagement to join our highly engaged team of urban development professionals. This role will suit a dynamic individual looking to take the next step in their professional career and someone passionate about social impact and urban change.
Our ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced social planning and community engagement professional working within the private or public sector. They will have an outcomes-oriented attitude excellent client liaison skills be a team player and have a passion for working in a high performing organisation. The ideal candidate will
- Work collaboratively across a wide range of projects including as part of multidisciplinary project teams.
- Be responsible for leading a range of deliverables including social impact assessment social infrastructure studies social research and measurement community and stakeholder engagement strategies as well as local and state government strategies
- Play a key role in supporting the preparation of fee proposals and tender submissions
- Manage the delivery of projects to ensure they are meet budget and timeframe expectations
- Develop your skills in project management delegation and supervision through managing junior staff members.
- Develop others within the team by sharing your knowledge and collaborative work experiences.
Build on your existing stakeholder relationships and networks to achieve positive results for clients and work with the team to generate new business.
Develop a broader skillset through working side by side with economists urban designers planners project managers and community & stakeholder engagement professionals.
Qualifications :
A Tertiary qualification in Planning/Urbanism/Human Geography/Sustainability/Communications or related degree/discipline.
2-5 years of experience within a professional services firm or state/local government.
Well-developed organisational and time management skills with a flexible and positive attitude to working on a range of different projects concurrently.
Knowledge of the NSW planning framework and/or social policy environment
Well-versed communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and other project team members.
Excellent writing skills who can draft efficiently write accurate and comprehensive reports and prepare external correspondence.
A professional commitment to striving for excellence.
