Mitigation Manager
Job Overview: Our Albuquerque client is seeking to add a NEW Mitigation Manager to their team. The ideal candidates brings a strong background in water fire and mold restoration. Skilled in managing field teams overseeing emergency response operations and ensuring projects are completed safely efficiently and in alignment with IICRC standards. Known for strong leadership clear communication and the ability to manage high-pressure situations while maintaining quality customer satisfaction and profitability.

What you will be doing as a Mitigation Manager - Ensure accurate documentation including photos notes and job files.
- Monitor job budgets labor utilization and equipment deployment to maintain profitability.
- Approve timesheets job costs and invoicing.
- Support compliance with TPA program requirements.
Operational Leadership- Direct daily mitigation operations including water fire mold and contents services.
- Dispatch and oversee field technicians during emergency events.
- Ensure compliance with IICRC standards company SOPs and all safety protocols.
- Review job documentation moisture logs and progress to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Project Management
- Conduct site inspections and prepare accurate scopes of work.
- Manage project timelines to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion.
- Communicate regularly with property owners adjusters and partner vendors.
- Approve drying plans equipment usage and job costing decisions.
Team Management & Development
- Lead train and mentor mitigation technicians and crew leads.
- Conduct performance evaluations and identify growth and training needs.
- Promote a positive safe and productivity-focused team environment.
Customer & Insurance Relations
- Provide clear and compassionate communication during stressful property damage events.
- Build strong relationships with adjusters TPAs property managers and other referral partners.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Administrative & Financial Oversight
Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Mitigation Manager - 35 years of restoration/mitigation experience
- 12 years of supervisory or management experience
- Strong knowledge of water fire mold and contents mitigation
- Proficiency with Encircle DASH PSA or similar job management platforms
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varied environmental conditions
Preferred
- IICRC certifications (WRT ASD FSRT AMRT)
- Experience working with TPAs and insurance-based restoration projects
- Bilingual English/Spanish (highly beneficial in Albuquerque market)
