We have an exciting opportunity for an Accommodation Coordinator to join the English Language Academy (ELA) this role you will ensure an exceptional experience for students staying in ELA-organised homestay and university-managed accommodation.
You will manage the end-to-end accommodation process including recruiting and supporting homestay families placing students in suitable accommodation and maintaining accurate records in our Student Management System. The role also involves liaising with the Student Services team to ensure student well-being coordinating airport transfers and building strong relationships with homestay families and external partners.
This is a varied and rewarding position where your organisational skills and attention to detail will directly contribute to creating a safe welcoming and culturally sensitive environment for our international students.
The salary range for this role is $65-70000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

You will be an organised and proactive coordinator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering excellent service. You have strong administrative skills great communication and the ability to build positive relationships with students families and colleagues.
Essential:
- NCEA Level 3 or equivalent
- At least two years experience in administration or coordination roles
- Experience with database and document management
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Cultural awareness and empathy for international students
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a calm professional approach under pressure
Preferred:
- Previous experience in international education
- Familiarity with the Education Code of Practice 2021
- Experience with CLASS Student Management System
- Ability to speak a second language
