Job Summary

  1. Overview and Objectives of the Position:

The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for the operation of assigned Pilot Training Program(s) within the Academy.  This is a non-flying position.

  1. Key Relationships:
  1. Chief Instructor
  2. Assistant Chief Flight Instructor(s)
  3. Flight instructors
  4. Students

 

  1. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  1. Supervise and manage the day-to-day Customer training activities specific to the program aircraft to include aircraft-specific training delivery and training documentation
  2. Monitor students Flightlogger account to ensure accurate data input.
  3. Conduct audits of student records in preparation for stage checks.
  4. Organize and document Additional Training Agreements and Flight Progress Reports
  5. Monitor students progress against the current Performance Management Process
  6. Alert Chief Flight Instructor for any student that is approaching training limits
  7. Prepare program specific reports for utilization at the Training Review Board
  8. Adhere to SOPs and regulations
  9. Provide information and resources to individual Instructors in support of the conduct of Customer training.
  10. Ensure Instructors are informed of unique Customer training requirements and ensure compliance with those requirements during Customers training.
  11. Other tasks assigned by the Chief Flight Instructor

Qualifications :

  1. Hold at least an FAA Private Pilot Certificate
  2. Effective communication skills
  3. Positive and professional attitude
  4. Well organised and analytical
  5. Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
  6. Fluency in English through both verbal and written communications; able to speak understand read and write.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.
  9. Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner.
  10. Ability to interact with varied customer base (current and/or prospective) while providing high level of customer service.
  11. Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure situations.

Ability to use classroom equipment as necessary.

Contingent to employment all candidates must pass a drug screening and background check along with TSA badging-if required for your role
