Your Tasks
We are looking for a Commercial Controlling Manager for the cosmetics business in Portugal as part of the Southern Europe Finance team.
Main responsibilities for this role include:
- Serving as a strategic business partner to the Head of Sales and Commercial teams in Portugal.
- Analyzing and assessing annual trade agreements while leading essential discussions with sales teams to effectively manage the sales budget.
- Adhering to the annual reporting calendar schedule and various added requirements for local management team Head Quarter / Regional Reporting.
- Working closely together with the RGM team on promo optimization and pricing.
- Ensuring an efficient monthly sales forecasting process identifying insights and challenging the commercial teams.
- Steering the financial forecast cycles for gross sales up to gross margin.
- Managing a team of two Sales Controllers.
- Taking active part in discussions related to Launches and Relaunches (DCC Process).
- Representing Finance in various projects (ie. new tools Opex).
Your Profile
- 5 years of relevant experience in Commercial Controlling or other Finance roles in FMCG
- Strong system skills (Excel PowerPoint ideally Power BI and SAP)
- Ability to influence and take ownership
- High problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to visualize complex data
- Languages: English (must-have - fluent)Portuguese (nice-to-have).
