About Organization
To elevate the strategic positioning and communication effectiveness of the Network Operations & Supervisory department within Rakuten Mobile. Drive key initiatives craft compelling narratives for internal and external audiences and manage cross-functional programs to enhance visibility streamline collaboration and align departments contributions with Rakuten Mobiles broader business objectives.
Job Duties
Strategic Communication:Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy articulating the departments vision progress and impact. Translate complex technical operations and achievements into clear business-focused updates for leadership and cross-functional teams.
Content & Thought Leadership:Prepare high-impact contentincluding presentations reports and talking pointsfor internal town halls executive briefings and external thought leadership opportunities.
Stakeholder Alignment:Serve as a key interface between Network Operations and other business units (e.g. Product Engineering Commercial). Map departmental interdependencies and foster strong working relationships to drive alignment and operational efficiency.
Business Analysis:Develop a deep understanding of the departments business drivers operational KPIs and strategic value. Use this insight to inform communication priorities and identify opportunities for improved positioning.
Program Management:Lead and manage strategic cross-functional programs originating from the Network Ops department ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and in alignment with stakeholder expectations.
Qualifications
Required:
MBA or equivalent Masters degree in Management Business Administration or a related field.
5 years of experience in program management corporate strategy or strategic communications preferably within a technology-driven environment.
Exceptional content creation and storytelling ability with proven success in simplifying complex topics for diverse audiences.
Demonstrated program management skills with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives.
Business-level proficiency in English is essential Japanese language skills will be an added advantage
Preferred:
Experience within the telecommunications technology or network infrastructure sectors.
Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced global organization.
Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
