Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Media Buying Specialist on a permanent basis.

Join our Creative Content & Brand Strategy team where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will work across multiple business lines gaining hands-on experience with Meta Google and both traditional and digital marketing. This position can be a hybrid or remote opportunity (depending on candidate location) and can be based across Western Canada.

What youll do:

  • Execute media buys across multiple channels ensuring smooth coordination with vendors and FCLs marketing team.

  • Manage media placements and creative specifications facilitating timely delivery of artwork.

  • Plan and optimize Meta campaigns by monitoring performance metrics and adjusting strategies for maximum impact.

  • Provide detailed reporting and actionable insights to enhance future digital campaign effectiveness.

  • Oversee invoicing and accurate spend tracking ensuring campaigns remain on budget.

Who youll work with:
You will report to the Supervisor Media Buying & Partnerships on a team that values relationship building and innovation. You will collaborate often with our larger marketing team including other specialists copywriters and designers. The successful candidate will also provide dedicated expertise to local Co-ops helping them optimize media execution. Ultimately this team helps us connect with communities showcase our brand and bring major campaigns to life.

Who you are:

You are looking for an opportunity in marketing and:

  • Have 1-3 years experience in digital media buying.

  • Hold a bachelors degree in business majoring in marketing (a combination of relevant experience & education may be considered).

  • Are familiar with Meta platforms.

  • Affiliation with marketing & communications professional bodies is considered an asset.
