What you will do
Do you have a passion for HVAC and mechanical systems We are looking for skilled Journeypersons who have worked in light/heavy commercial or industrial settings to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team supporting our clients site in Fort Saskatchewan. This role will allow you to learn and grow while working with advanced heavy commercial and industrial equipment.
You will gain exposure to vintage and top-of-the-line technology and equipment with a strong focus on employee safety. We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA) with milestone recognition and monetary rewards. We will equip you with tools (excluding tools outlined in the union agreement) and uniforms to perform your job at the highest standard.
The ideal candidate must be skilled in their trade and we prefer a minimum of five (5) years of actual practical working experience in the HVAC plumbing pipefitting and/or mechanical equipment service industry.
What we look for
Required
Mechanical Journeyperson status.
5 years of light/heavy commercial or industrial HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting experience.
Valid drivers license appropriate certifications to work with refrigerants boilers and steam operational & service knowledge.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
This is a Bargaining Unit Position.
Pay Range: $56.66 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local laborunion aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
