Job Description
As an Executive Assistant (EA) you will play a crucial role in providing high-level administrative support to senior executives managers or leaders within an organization. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the executives work enabling them to focus on their core responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain executives calendars appointments and schedules.
- Coordinate meetings conferences and events including logistics agendas and materials preparation.
- Handle phone calls emails and correspondence on behalf of the executives prioritizing and responding as necessary.
- Organize and maintain confidential documents records and files.
- Act as a liaison between executives and external stakeholders.
- Draft and edit communications memos and announcements.
- Monitor and manage email correspondence to ensure timely responses.
- Arrange travel itineraries accommodations and transportation.
- Will be required to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a calm customer-focused professional approach to all aspects of this busy and demanding role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent (e.g. UG or PG degree in Business Management English Communications Journalism etc.).
- Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Mandatory experience of working in a school.
- Good minute-taking abilities and performing general administrative tasks.
- Ability to multi-task and demonstrate a can do attitude.
- Strong organizational time-management and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite Google Workspace).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of the education industry including its challenges and trends is a plus.
