The successful candidate will provide clinical care to preterm and term newborn infants at eastern North Carolinas only childrens hospital and will going a growing pediatric service line. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Opportunity Highlights include: Employment by ECU Health Physicians Academic appointment with East Carolina Universitys Brody School of Medicine Growing 9-hospital physician-led healthcare system Hospital privileges at ECU Healths Maynard Childrens Hospital at ECU Health Medical Center State-of-the-art 142-bed childrens hospital offering 20 pediatric sub-specialists and a 71-bed Level IV NICU Established division that includes 12 Neonatologists 6 Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellows and 18 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants Schedule will include structured weekly rotations with a mixture of Level IV NICU team service & Newborn Nursery Coverage Call blocks and dedicated time for academic administrative or quality improvement activities.
