In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Implement and continuously refine the local PSS sales strategy in the region using Emersons portfolio
- Identify develop and close new business opportunities
- Own the annual order budget and meet sales targets
- Collaborate with Nordic and European SYSS teams to support market growth
- Sales Management & Development
- Drive business development across process industries and manage complex sales cycles
- Support and grow existing accounts within capital investment projects visit customers to promote solutions products and services
- Sales Planning & Forecasting
- Build and lead pursuit teams with proposal and engineering support
- Coordinate pre- and post-sales efforts with internal specialists
- Maintain accurate order forecasting and support budget and S&OP processes
- Technical & Relationship Focus
- Translate customer requirements into solution offers with proposals and engineering teams
- Deliver technical presentations demos and quotations
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers and serve as main customer contact
- Marketing & Market Intelligence
- Represent Emerson at industry events and act as a trusted advisor
- Monitor market trends competitors and technology developments
- Sales Excellence & Personal Growth
- Ensure CRM and business system data integrity
- Continuously develop technical and sales competencies
- Promote a Think Customer culture and conduct business ethically
Who You Are:
You are an experienced sales engineer with background the process industries and proven success in complex technical sales and project pursuits. You anticipate customer needs and set objectives to align with broader organizational goals. Developing customer relationships comes natural to you and you easily collaborate with cross functional pursuit teams.
For This Role You Will Need:
- Experience in process industries and complex technical sales (a minimum of 5 years)
- Engineering degree (. or higher)
- Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English
- Proven networking and relationship management within a matrix organization
- Willingness to travel 2550% of the time
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Proven technical sales experience in process industries.
- Strong network and customer relationships in target sectors.
- Skilled in managing large complex projects.
