Our People Experience team delivers people advisory services across four markets. We have more than 1000 leaders across 250 hotels who use our self-service tools and support services. While we aim to empower our leaders to solve cases on their own the most complex and high-risk cases make their way to us for hands-on support.
As ourPeople Manager & Country Lead for Norway you will be our resident authority on Norwegian labor law union relationships and leadership advisory. Your mission is to ensure that Strawberry remains a responsible and compliant employer while providing the expert guidance our leaders need to navigate the complexities of the working environment. Youll work side by side with your colleague People Managers on leadership support and do many of the same things but youll pay a little extra attention to the translating legislation into practical action ensuring we stay ahead of changes in the legal landscape and maintain strong collaborative relationships with central unions.
This is a subject matter expert role with no direct reports. Youll report to the Director of People Advisory and work from our head office inOslo.

What youll be doing
Your work will focus on high-level compliance labor law expertise and expert advisory:
- Navigating Labor Law & Compliance: You will stay ahead of legislative changes in Norway ensuring all routines documents and processes are legally compliant. Youll implement necessary updates across the organization and maintain rigorous self-audit routines.
- Driving Union Relations: As the main point of contact for central unions in Norway you will lead negotiations for collective agreements and salary reviews and manage coordination and information in the event of a strike.
- Expert Leadership Advisory: You will provide high-level advisory on complex or high-risk cases. This includes planning case strategy attending employee meetings and quality-assuring all legal documentation to mitigate risk.
- Building the Toolbox: You will own develop and maintain our library of templates guides and automated processes. Youll ensure that being a leader at Strawberry is easy and compliant by designing tools with a customer-first perspective.
- Empowering Leaders through Training: Youll own and deliver a library of LiveTalks webinars and e-learning content. Youll enable the business through workshops and train-the-trainer sessions to ensure leadership confidence across the employee lifecycle.
- Strategic Projects: Youll provide expert advice to cross-functional projects such as the design of new HR system modules or regional salary review processes where local legislation knowledge is critical.

- You have a proven track record of managing union relationships and are comfortable leading central negotiations.
