This full time permanent Design Engineer - Advanced Plastics Extrusion Tooling is at a growing very flexible employee- friendly ISO certified manufacturer of plastic extrusion products. This position could grow into a department head position if that is of interest. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

Creating plastic extrusion tooling designs for profile extrusion co-extrusion and tri-extrusion
Directing the designing building modifying installing and maintaining efforts
Assisting machine operators and machinists
Adjusting the extrusion tooling
Working with the manufacturing team to troubleshoot and improve production processes

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

3 years of plastic extrusion tooling design experience for profile extrusion co-extrusion and tri-extrusion
3 years of strong extrusion processing experience
Strong extrusion processing knowledge
A solid work history
A US citizen or possess a green card
A residence within 45 minutes
