Job Summary
Maintain the facility through preventative and corrective general maintenance.
- General Cleaning & Upkeep: Sweeping mopping waxing floors; cleaning restrooms/kitchens; maintaining grounds (landscaping trash removal).
- Minor Repairs: Replacing light fixtures bulbs ceiling tiles; fixing leaky faucets clogged drains door hardware; patching drywall/walls.
- System Support: Changing HVAC filters; assisting with inspections of electrical plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Equipment & Tool Care: Cleaning maintaining and safely operating hand/power tools and assigned vehicles.
- Documentation: Completing work orders logging time and materials reporting significant issues to supervisors.
- Safety Compliance: Following all company safety rules securing work areas and identifying hazards
- Respond to emergency situations such as fire power outage gas or water leaks.
- Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting heating and ventilating equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications :
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to safely and effectively operate hand and power tools.
- Must be able to read comprehend and apply technical material schematics and blueprints.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
