Job Summary

Job Title: Interconnection Agreement Negotiator

Duration: 12-months

Location: : Dallas TX area or Atlanta GA(Onsite)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

The Interconnection Agreement Negotiator will:-

Lead and support negotiations for interconnection and related telecom agreements
Manage increased contract activity related to the T911 offer and the decommissioning of commercial UNE contracts.
Ensure contracts are compliant by:
- validating secretary of state license and Public Service Commission certifications match the contract
- documenting all communication about contract negotiations
- completing database forms and submitting all required documentation to Contract Management for contract production processing and execution.

Required Skills

General Abilities :-

Bachelors degree (strongly preferred) or five to eight (5 to 8) years of experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience preparing and filing regulatory agreements and amendments
Experience with telecom interconnection agreements regulatory compliance and/or network operations
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with Section 251 of the Telecom Act including interconnection UNEs resale Number Portability and 911
