Position Summary
The Product Operations Manager (Global Business Integration Lead) plays a crucial role in driving operational excellence across product creation planning and development teams. This position supports global and regional partners by improving processes maintaining product calendars enabling cross-functional alignment and ensuring accurate and timely execution of business-critical workflows.
You will help teams operate with agility and clarity supporting major process moments and ensuring information flows smoothly across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
Identify gaps inefficiencies and opportunities across product creation planning and operational processes.
Develop refine and standardize processes and best practices across teams and workstreams.
Support enterprise-level process initiatives and ongoing operational workstreams.
Product Creation Support
Maintain and update product calendars ensuring accurate information is communicated to cross-functional teams.
Ensure consistent execution of key operational moments within the product creation process.
Partner across Product Management Development Design Merchandising Planning and Insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with operational and functional leaders to bring teams together for process alignment and business reviews.
Communicate updates process milestones and changes clearly and effectively across teams.
Reporting & Data Management
Execute and deliver recurring business reports using appropriate communication tools.
Present data simply and impactfully to support decision-making.
Train teams on how to interpret business data and convert insights into action.
Documentation & Training
Create training materials procedural documentation and system guides.
Facilitate training sessions and support onboarding to new tools or processes.
Project Management
Develop detailed project plans including scope timelines resources risks and quality requirements.
Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in Business Operations or related field OR equivalent experience.
5 years in product management operations project management or strategy.
Experience in product creation ideally within footwear apparel or retail sports industries.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of end-to-end product/retail value chain from innovation to consumer.
Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
Excellent verbal written and visual communication skills.
Strong facilitation skills: active listening data gathering and negotiating forward progress.
Ability to influence guide and align cross-functional teams at all levels.
Passion for process excellence simplification and operational precision.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Apple & Microsoft Office (Keynote PowerPoint Excel including formulas pivots and lookups).
Experience with collaboration/project tools such as Miro Smartsheet Airtable or similar platforms.
Preferred Experience
Background supporting footwear or retail sports product operations.
Prior experience working with product development or product planning teams.
Additional Notes
Two hires will be madeeach supporting different categories or sports.
Candidates must be local or able to relocate prior to the start date.
