Who You Are
You are a steady authoritative presence on the jobsite and across the organizationsomeone leaders and employees trust when safety decisions matter. As a Senior Safety Manager you lead proactive risk identification drive corrective action and oversee injury prevention and occupational health strategies at a high level. With a strong education and professional background in safety you bring both strategic oversight and hands-on expertise to protecting people improving performance and reducing organizational risk. You communicate with clarity and confidence build trust through consistency and accountability and are committed to settingand upholdingthe highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage site safety programs in accordance with MSHA regulations
Serve as the primary safety authority on-site
Conduct training audits inspections and incident investigations
Partner with operations leadership to drive a strong safety culture
Mentor and develop safety personnel

Requirements
MSHA Blue Card Trainer
Minimum 15 years of mining experience
Strong background in MSHA compliance safety leadership and field execution
Proven ability to lead site safety programs and mentor safety staff
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
Strong communication organizational team collaboration skills
Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week
Ability to regularly push pull and/or lift up to 50 lbs throughout the work shift.
Ability to frequently stand walk handle or feel objects reach stoop kneel or crouch
Must have a favorable driving record for the past 5 years
Must pass detailed Criminal Background Motor Vehicle Record and Drug Screen checks.

Compensation Transparency
Compensation for this position is competitive and may pay up to $160000 annually based on the candidates experience licensure and geographic addition to base salary HV Health and Safety offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance paid time off continuing education support and additional benefits. We believe in fair and transparent compensation and are happy to discuss details during the interview process.

Requirements Must be able to work 40 hours per week Recent graduate in Safety Industrial Hygiene Occupational Health or related field Strong desire to build a career in mining or heavy industry safety Willingness to learn MSHA standards and site-specific safety requirements Strong communication organizational team collaboration skills Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts (rotating shifts alternating weekends) Ability to regularly push pull and/or lift up to 50 lbs throughout the work shift.
