Opportunity Overview
The TeradyneSoftwareEngineering team is looking for a highly motivated energetic technically drivenSoftwareEngineer to focus on the development of software systems forAutomatic Test Equipment (ATE).AsaSoftware Engineer you will play a critical role in designing developing andmaintainingcomplex software systems and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions for Teradynes next-generation products including hardware/software integration system-level development and performance optimization. This position offers an opportunity to work oncutting-edgetechnologies in the semiconductor and automation industries.
Design develop andmaintainsoftware components for ATE platforms including embedded systems diagnostic tools and automation frameworks.
Participate in full software development lifecycle: requirements analysis design implementation testing and support.
Collaborate with hardware systems and product teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Conduct unit testing code reviews and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
Support internal and external customers with technical troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers helping them grow and achievehigh standardsof software engineering.
Prepare clear and detailed technical documentation for developed software system architectures and processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
All About You
Bachelors ormastersdegree in computer science Electrical Engineering or related field.
1-3yearsof professional software development experience.
Conceive and implement fully functional and high performing C# and C software
Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented design.
Familiarity with software development tools such as version control (Git) debuggers and IDEs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with real-time operating systems device drivers and hardware-software interaction.
Experience with CI/CD processes version control and agile methodologies.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $101100 - $160100. This range is a good faith estimate and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
