About the role
Reporting to the Risk and Assurance Lead the Assurance Coordinator provides support coordinating assurance and risk activities maintaining documentation and assisting with project assurance reporting activities and processes. The role will focus on ensuring assurance processes run smoothly and efficiently enabling the uplift of the project risk and assurance capability.
Role responsibilities
This is a hands-on detail-oriented role requiring strong organisational communication and document management skills.
- Support the delivery of the projects assurance framework including scheduling and coordinating assurance reviews workshops and governance meetings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assurance activities risks issues and dependencies.
- Assist in preparing assurance reports and action trackers alongside the analyst.
- Coordinate responses to audit or assurance requests and ensure documentation is collated and accessible.
- Organise and schedule project assurance meetings including agenda preparation preparing relevant documents diary management required sharepoint access minute-taking and action follow-up.
- Maintain project documentation libraries (e.g. SharePoint Teams or other repositories).
- Support version control and document formatting to ensure consistency across project artefacts.
- Codifying of final reports into data sets
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on risk management and assurance activities and ensure a robust control environment.
- Act as the central point of contact for assurance-related queries within the project.
- Support communication and collaboration between project teams risk leads and assurance reviewers.
Experience and knowledge
- Experience working in large transformation Programs preferable
- Practical application of risk assurance frameworks in corporate and government information systems and networks
- Experience with usingPowerBIand creating reports
- Experience and proven ability to manage risks and issues in complex transformation Programs
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to confidently communicate and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong administration skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-resolution skills
Education/ Certificates
- Preferably qualifications/certifications in a Business-related field/ or relevant experience
- Risk & Assurance qualifications or certifications / or relevant experience
Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain and level of security clearance issued by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency. This requires an Australian citizenship.
