Customer Service Representative
Location: Rayne LA
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 a.m.4:30 p.m.
Pay Range: $17.50$18.50 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Rayne LA. This position plays a vital role in supporting our customers and ensuring smooth operations. Youll handle service requests billing inquiries and account updates while working closely with both customers and internal teams to deliver safe cost-effective and environmentally sound solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming customer calls and process orders for new service discontinuance or changes in service
Accept customer payments research billing inquiries and update account information accurately
Interact with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine service requirements and resolve complaints
Collaborate with other departments to resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction
Demonstrate proficiency in proprietary operational systems and maintain accurate records
Prepare contract forms calculate service charges collect deposits and issue discontinuance orders
Research missed pickups and dispatch them to drivers for resolution
Qualifications
12 years of customer service experience in a high call-volume environment
Proficiency with MS Word Excel and email systems preferred
Strong typing and 10-key skills required
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to gather data compile information and prepare reports
