81781 - EHV Maintenance Engineer
This EHV Maintenance Engineer will report to the EHV Senior Project Manager and will work within Network Operations based in our Bidder Street Canning Town office. You will be a permanent employee in our UK Power Networks team.
You will attract a salary of 65241 and a bonus of 3%.

You will have overall responsibility for the daily delivery of the responsibilities associated with LPN EHV Inspections and Maintenance in London. Alongside the management of the Inspection and Maintenance programme youwill provide regular reporting on KPI and safety performance measure.
You will manage the coordination and technical performance of field staff and apprentices. This includes liaison with Asset Management Capital Programme Major Projects and local Areas to ensure the maximum utilisation of all staff on day-to-day basis.
You will assist in developing and managing an EHV staff progression plan ensuring the highest level of operational experience is gained with regular milestone reviews practical and theoretical.
Required Skills:
33kV SAP (willing to progress up to 132kV)
ONC (willing to continue to HNC)
IOSH Safety Management
IOSH Environmental Management
To recognise the significance of this position the successful candidate will also be expected to take a proactive approach towards continuing their professional development in the areas of engineering safety leadership and general management
Principal Accountabilities:
Essential Qualifications:
You will have both a high degree of experience in field engineering and be able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and commitment towards meeting business targets.
A detailed understanding of Primary plant and switchgear is essential and experience with maintenance defect diagnosis/repair is needed.
You will be someone who inspires those you mentor setting the highest of standards in all areas including professional conduct carrying with it a high level of self-motivation.
We are looking for good communication skills and the ability to partner with other parts of Network Operations to resolve problems and develop and implement new plans.
