Job Summary

Technical Design Engineer Permanent Full-Time

Location Hybrid based in London

Join a creative production agency specialising in immersive retail environments and brand experiences. By blending concept ideation with technical engineering they deliver global projects ranging from bespoke displays to large-scale pop-ups for brands such as Estée Lauder Tom Ford Harrods and Selfridges.

We are looking for a talented Technical Design Engineer proficient in SolidWorks. The role requires an end-to-end approach blending CAD expertise with project management supplier liaison and sustainable value engineering. You will deliver high-quality fast-paced retail installations while maintaining project profitability.

Responsibilities but are not limited to

Using SolidWorks with a focus on value function creativity sustainability and innovation
Providing client quotes using proven methods and an established supplier database
Developing high-standard technical drawings for production
Conducting supplier visits and overseeing quality standards
Project Management ensuring "the job gets done" with maximum efficiency and exceptional service for your brands
Working quickly while maintaining a logical thorough approach
Attending client meetings and briefs to ensure requirements are accurately translated into CAD designs

Experiences required

Proficiency in designing with SolidWorks is essential
Experience in the direct retail environment (brand identity) and POS (Point of Sale) design
A proven track record of leading projects from inception to completion
Ability to create detailed technical drawings for manufacturing (DFM)
Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes within the retail sector
Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite for artworking is a bonus but not essential
