Job Purpose
To co-design prepare execute and analyse output of practical experiments in line with the department R&D project and functional standards. Can act as member of a project team contributing to the realization of objectives of research/development/support projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver project results on time ensuring quality and feasibility according to business needs
- Correct use of methodologies tools and systems
- Protection of AkzoNobel technologies
- Maintain and promotes a safe work environment complies with safety policies and procedures. Follows safe work practices for personal and equipment safety in both the laboratory and in the field. End results are zero or minimum safety incidents and a cleanorderly working environment
- Conduct a significant level of formulation or technical work (in the lab) as defined in the project plan
- Ask appropriate questions to clarify requirements expectations and critical performance parameters
- Documents (lab) results visits etc. through appropriate reporting systems
- Familiar with and applies relevant experimental development and/or analytical approaches and techniques
Experience
- Bachelors Degree or above major in chemistry chemical technology environmental statistics data science or relevant field
- 3-5 years experience in Coating R&D
- Good command of English and Chinese
- Good team player skillful in problem solving
- Experience with ERP system be preferred
