The Category Design Manager is asenior strategic creative leaderresponsible for shaping evolving and driving theend-to-end visual brand experienceacross an entirecategory portfolio. Reporting to the US Director of Design this role defines theDesign vision creative strategy and brand expression systemsthat guide multiple brands and product lines across the US market. The Category Design Manager is responsible forwhat the brand should look feel and mean to consumers and forcreating new brand assets identity systems and experience principlesthat move the business forward.
This role is acreator innovator orchestrator and strategic design partner influencing senior business leaders across insights R&D marketing digital and Innovation. Category Level Creative Leadership(Strategic Visionary)
Lead the creation and evolution ofcategory wide visual brand strategies identity systems and design frameworks.
Define thecreative directionfor multiple brands ensuring each brands distinctiveness meaning and equity grows over time.
Partner with the US Director of Design to shape theDesign visionand long-term roadmap for the category.

Experience Design Across the Consumer Journey

Creative Direction & Cross-Functional Orchestration

*The position is based in Warren NJ and follows a hybrid model requiring an in-office presence of 3 days per week.
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
10 years as aVisual Designer Creative Design Manager or Design Leadin agency or client-side environments.
Deep expertise inBranding Design Systems and Innovation Design.
Strong proficiency indesign thinking human-centered design and applying insights to creative strategy.
Understanding of global design culture and modern design practices across industries.
Strategic tactical knowledge of how Design drivesbrand equity business value and portfolio growth.
Experience in FMCG/healthcare design leadership roles; experience managingcategory level budgetspreferred.
Cross-disciplinary design experience including brand identity structural packaging digital POS advertising and more.
Proven track record increating launching and scalingdistinctive brand assets and complete visual systems.
Strong design communication skills; ability to articulate creative decisions through consumer and business impact.
Deep familiarity with Adobe CC; bonus for 3D CAD motion or digital experience.
Strong portfolio showcasingomnichannel brand system design and breakthrough creative work.
Ability to influence inspire and lead through design with intellectual curiosity and hands on capability when needed
The salary range for this role is: $ 126603.20 $ 158254 USD bonus
