Position Description:
We are seeking a self-driven summer intern to support our Human Computer Interactions team. This intern will assist in creating user-friendly digital experiences by helping with UI/UX design tasks and collaborating with the design team to bring concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to create intuitive and engaging digital experiences for our products.
- Assist in UI/UX design tasks including wireframes prototypes and user flows ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Support research and testing efforts to gather user feedback and improve usability.
- Work closely with the UX/UI lead and product team to translate concepts into visually appealing and functional designs.
- Contribute to communication design and mixed media projects ensuring consistency across digital platforms.
- Apply principles of human-computer interaction to enhance user experience and accessibility.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to internship or co-op and at least one additional semester following internship or co-op.
- Must be pursuing at least a masters level degree in Human-Computer Interaction Communication Design Mixed Media Design UI/UX Design or related major.
- Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0
- Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects)
- Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated)
- Ability to commit to a full time (40 hrs. per week) Intern position.
