Job Profile: Program Manager Portugal
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for multiple projects and deliver project management expertise ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
- Build strong engagement from the outset with senior leaders across all relevant business teams.
- Lead steering meetings to ensure key decisions are made and that risks issues and dependencies are shared among all stakeholders.
- Challenge current processes and defend a simplified approach while obtaining buy-in from key stakeholders.
- Ensure suppliers/partners adhere to fit-to-standard principles with exceptions following strict governance.
- Manage the transformation program identify and manage dependencies between program and workstreams.
- Manage sign-off with third parties/system integrators and business stakeholders.
Qualifications :
Essential Skills
- Proven track record and experience in all lifecycle phases of transformations of this size and complexity.
- Ability to grasp business issues and assess technical impact.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment meeting the pace of a Private Equity (PE) owned company.
- Outstanding stakeholder people management coaching and leadership skills.
- Exceptional organization planning and time management skills ability to manage a transformation with multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams conflicting priorities differing reporting lines and multi-site projects as well as scope change and risk.
- Demonstrable experience and/or formal Project Management qualifications tools and techniques.
- Experience managing system integrators and other vendors within time cost and budget constraints.
- Pre-emptive can-do/hands-on attitude tenacious and motivated.
Additional Information
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant program management experience.
- Location: Portugal preferably Porto or Braga.
- Language: Portuguese (fluent) English (advanced) Spanish is a bonus.
- Preferred Start: As soon as possible.
- Travel: 4060% onsite in Porto or Braga required.
